About Us
Who we are
GRDF is a pioneering non-profit organization working at the grassroots level to uplift and empower disadvantaged communities. Our team comprises dedicated professionals, social workers, and volunteers who collaborate with local stakeholders to drive meaningful change.
We believe that access to education and healthcare is a fundamental right and that gender equality is essential for sustainable development. By addressing the socio-economic challenges faced by marginalized groups, particularly girls and women, we strive to create an inclusive and progressive society.
We work closely with schools, healthcare providers, community leaders, and government agencies to implement programs that create long-term impact. Our holistic approach focuses on education, healthcare, gender equality, and community empowerment, ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to thrive.
Our approach
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower marginalized communities, particularly girls and women, by ensuring access to education, healthcare, and social support.
We strive to eliminate early child marriage, reduce school dropout rates, and create sustainable opportunities for socio-economic development. Our work is guided by the principles of equity, dignity, and self-reliance, ensuring that every individual has the chance to thrive. Through collaboration with local stakeholders, community-driven initiatives, and targeted interventions, we aim to break cycles of poverty and create a society where education and health are accessible to all.
Our Vision
Our vision is to build a future where gender equality prevails and socio-economic opportunities empower marginalized communities.
We envision a society where every girl has the right to education, health, and dignity.By fostering a culture of education, awareness, and self-sufficiency, we aspire to create a generation of confident, independent women who drive positive change in their communities. We seek to establish a model of sustainable development that can be replicated in similar rural regions, ultimately contributing to a more equitable and just world.
Our numbers that speak
We have numbers that push us to give in our best and make sure that we break our own records. We are happy to be growing and helping more day by day.
Our Goal
Our goal is to empower 500 marginalized girls in Dinhata Blocks (I & II) by providing access to education, preventing child marriage, and ensuring improved healthcare and hygiene. We aim to:
- Ensure at least 85% retention of targeted girls in schools by the end of the project timeline.
- Reduce the prevalence of early child marriage by 75% in the intervention area.
- Improve access to healthcare and hygiene support for 500 girls.
- Build community awareness and change attitudes toward girls’ education and health through active engagement.
